Newly crowned premier League Champions, Liverpool, suffer 4-0 defeat to second place, Manchester City.
Before the game the Manchester City players and staff respectfully gave the newly crowned Premier League Champs a Guard of Honour to congratulate The Reds on their first ever premier League title win.
Liverpool started the game with a nice break through the Manchester City defence, but only ended with Mohamed Salah hitting the post after he was past all the defenders.
Cities first came from a penalty as Joe Gomez was holding Raheem Sterling in the box, De Bruyne slots it home sending Alison the wrong way.
The second came from ex-Red Raheem Sterling, City used their brilliant passing tactics to break through Liverpool's strong defence and were able to get the ball to an unmarked Sterling where he could put the ball past an arriving Alison.
More one touch passing led to the third goal. David Silva and Phil Foden used these tactics to their own good and the skilful passing led to Foden's 4th of the season and now the Champions were 3-0 down.
A good ball from Kevin De Bruyne to Raheem Sterling led to the fourth and final goal for City, Sterling takes the ball around Joe Gomez and goes to put the ball into the bottom left of the goal where it deflects off a defending Oxlade-Chamberlin to go in for an own goal.
In the 95th minute, Riyad Mahrez thought he had clinched the 5th but fortunately for Liverpool it was ruled out after Phil Foden handballed it in the build up.
The Reds may have won the league but they did not show it against City at all.
